Reflective Material can be classified in two groups:

product procedure and properties

Reflective material is a high-tech, safe guarding and energy saving product with complicated procedure. With different kinds of resin, the glass beads are evenly spread on different kinds of material bases. Each glass bead is an optical lens. When irradiated, glass beads on the material surface directly reflect light beam in retro reflection and continuity with high intensity, making a reflecting surface. Reflective Fabric is made of polyester fiber, or cotton, and glass bead with which is aluminum-plated on its opposite part of surface and has high intensity of refraction, Each glass bead lining on the fabric base is a source of reflected light. Incoming light to the fabric base has function of retro reflection. Retro reflection works through incidence, refraction and reflection.

Reflective Materials is used in the following areas:
For highway traffic signboard and marking, railway and airway transportation, navigation, seaport, mining area, tunneling, motor license plates, life saving equipments and signboard, caution signboard used in construction site; protective uniforms for traffic policemen, firefighters, workers on road construction and workers on highway sanitation. Reflective warning shunt marking, separating signboard, and either end of bridge are especially necessary. Also used as security decoration for civilian products. Reflective Yarn:
Made using PET or synthetic fiber as a base material and recombined with glass bead which is aluminum-plated on its opposite part of surface. The glass bead is in high grade refraction. Reflective yarn works using the same principle as reflective fabric. After recombination it can be cut into different specifications from 0.5mm to 3mm in diameter. It then can be knitted into different coloured silk fabric or textile lace. Adopting the working principle of micro sized prismatic reflection and with injection molding pressure, reflective PVC can be made into reflective waist belts for police use, reflective trading marks, reflective bulletin boards and reflective drawing signboards.
Reflective Heat Paste:
Reflective Heat Paste is a type of EVA or PVC base material combined with high reflective glass bead, which is aluminum-plated on its opposite part of surface. After electric ironing, the reflective Heat Paste is bound to garment, shoe, hat or bag, with different drawing design board. It can also be stuck together with all kinds of carriers for reflective purpose by using directly the Hot Pressing Machine. Beijing Golden Reflex has invented reflective Heat Paste, Cup -seaming Lace. It is more cost saving compared with cup seaming lace in reflective fabric used by other producers. Many companies have tended to use the Hot Gluing Reflective Material in making Cup-Seaming Lace.

washing instruction

For Reflective textile, only use soft brusher or washing machine. Hard brusher or sharp tool may damage the surface of textile and shorten the quality period of product. The brightness and retro reflection of textile remains unchanged after washing. The reflective intensity is no lower than 80% of that before washing.
